Broken Capillary Treatments at Caddell's Laser and Electrolysis Clinic Lasers have revolutionized the cosmetic surgery industry and using them in the treatment of broken capillaries is just one of the areas they are the most effective. What are Broken Capillaries? Broken capillaries are clusters of small red or blue vessels which appear on the face and legs. They are commonly known as Spider Veins. Traditional treatments using an injection of saline or foam are very effective. Another option is the use of a long pulse Nd Yag Laser. The heat from the laser closes the vessel and the coagulated blood is absorbed in to the body. Three to four treatments are needed and best results occur if the client wears support stockings and stays away from cardio exercise for two weeks post laser.

| Caddell's lasers provide safe and effective non-surgical treatment options for the removal of spider veins. Our advanced laser treatments allow us to deliver a precise dosage of energy to each vein. The lasers used are generally hand held devices that are focused very shallowly into the skin to effect cosmetic changes. During treatment, light energy is delivered through a special laser hand piece to the targeted vein. In a series of brief pulses, the light energy is absorbed by the blood vessels, but not the surrounding tissue. This heat absorption causes a coagulation of the blood vessel, which is subsequently absorbed by your body. It may take several treatments to have an effect. Debbie Caddell has been treating veins since 2002 and has the knowledge of lasers to help them accomplish the removal of a broken capillary in as few treatments as possible. Fair skinned people are more likely to get spider veins or telangiectasia than people with olive or dark complexions. Dehydrated skin as well as very sensitive skin tends to be thinner and have fewer protective layers of tissue, making this type of skin more susceptible to broken capillaries. I had red broken capillaries on my legs, near my knees. I only needed one laser treatment for them to go away! I am so excited and will continue to use laser if I get further veins in the future. ~D.C.
